Embodying Earth

Leadership for a Regenerative Future

 July 6 — July 14

Đồng Nai, Vietnam

Embodying Earth: Leadership for a Regenerative Future is an experiential changemaking program that empowers youth to drive regenerative change.

Recognizing the importance of holistic learning with our heads, hearts, and hands, Embodying Earth weaves together sustainability science, embodied practices, the wisdom of local leaders, and direct engagement to create a transformative learning experience. This supports participants to regenerate themselves, their communities, and our Earth.

As a United World Colleges (UWC) Short Courses, Embodying Earth offers a taste of the UWC mission and values through experiential learning. Participants will become part of the international UWC community and will leave with new friendships, new perspectives, new skills, and a renewed passion for making a positive impact in the world.

GUIDING QUESTIONS:

While living and learning together at the Nui Tuong ecological community, participants will grapple with and explore these two guiding questions:
What lies at the root of the climate and ecological crisis?
What can we do to be of service to all life?

Here's what some participants from past Embodying Earth programs had to say:

"It has changed the way I see everything. Literally everything. Dare I say it was a life changing experience just because of the fun, joy, and learning."

"This has been one of the most transformative experiences ever...I have learned so much about living in harmony with nature and made so many  friends."

LEARNING JOURNEY

Guided by experienced facilitators, wise local leaders, and an intercultural changemaker community, participants will engage with practices inspired by deep ecology, regenerative leadership, and mindfulness—exploring how we can all be in service of more just and thriving futures.

4 days online

Introduction to Climate Science

Participants will explore the current landscape of the climate crisis, with a particular focus on root causes and leverage points for change. They will develop critical thinking, complexity and systems awareness, and perspective skills.
